AC Shadows Reveals Surprising Attack on Titan Crossover for Thanksgiving
In a bizarre partnership that challenges conventional forecasts, Ubisoft has unveiled an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Questline Uncovered
According to the official statement, "A mysterious encounter leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where hints of banned practices and monstrous changes reverberate through the obscurity." The narrative presents a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a secret group.
The questline centers on "strange trials and a monstrous adversary" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Settings and Changes
The preview features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview ends with a striking sequence showing a character, probably the hostage, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Items and Bonus Features
Players who accomplish the mission will acquire an unique katana in addition to several objects concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
- Titan-themed outfit for Yasuke
- Mikasa outfit for Naoe
- Special weapons
- Survey Corps vehicle
Latest Free Story Update
